PUR FM-9100B Faucet Water Filters can be installed easily. First, find and remove the original aerator with its washer found in the water faucet. Second, select the new adapter to match the faucet’s threading. Please note that adapters and washers will be included in the original PUR faucet water filters box. After choosing the new adapter, tighten it with the washer on the faucet. This can be done with bare hands and fingers when installing PUR faucet filters. Just make sure the water faucet adapter and washer is well tightened.
The next step involves installing the water filter on to the water faucet device. Simply twist off the top cover to be removed and insert the water filter in there. Note that the filter might feel loosely fitting at first. So replace the top cover back on and simply install the PUR faucet water filter device. You will hear a ‘CLICK’ sound upon complete installation of the PUR faucet filter.

Water flow too slow when filtering: This is generally a symptom that it is time to change the faucet water filter cartridge.
Old faucet water filter cartridge giving difficulty while replacing: The quick release buttons on the faucet water filter need to be used. Remove the filter system and cover. This will help twist the filter cartridge and make the water filter loosen.
Water leakage over the filter cover: This should not happen if the installation was done correctly. The faucet water filter cartridge should be removed and reinstalled properly.
